There are games we only stop playing until we start again.
Peek-a-boo with the baby on the train. I Spy when the radio
stops working. Would you rather. I would rather.
Like Monopoly, where the taxes go to Free Parking
and someone you love gets all the money—everyone
going bankrupt for the want of other people.
There are games we only start playing when we stop.
Do you think that if our bodies became ATM machines
overnight, we'd find a way to empty ourselves out?
