Dara Barrois/Dixon's books include Extremely Expensive Mystical Experiences for Astronauts (Conduit Books and Ephemera 2024); Tolstoy Killed Anna Karenina (Wave 2022); in the still of the night (Wave 2017); You Good Thing (Wave 2013), among The Believer‘s 2013 readers favorite books; the book-length poem Reverse Rapture (Verse 2005), the Poetry Center’s 2006 book of the year selected by Stephen Rodefer; Voyages in English; and chapbooks from Song Cave, Rain Taxi, Scram, Incessant Pipe, Press Brake, and others. The Lannan Foundation, Guggenheim Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, and Massachusetts Cultural Council have supported her work. She’s publisher and an editor for factory hollow press, an Amherst Public Arts commissioner, and a Flow Chart Foundation board member. She lives and works in North Amherst, Massachusetts. She’s previously published as Dara Wier.

Harryette Mullen is the award-winning author of several poetry collections, including Urban Tumbleweed, Recyclopedia, Sleeping with the Dictionary, a finalist for the National Book Award, and most recently, Regaining Unconsciousness (Graywolf, September 2025). She teaches at the University of California, Los Angeles.
